General Information     

 A grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid.  Federal grants are in form of the Pell Grant. Pell Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not yet earned a bachelor's degree. For many students, Pell Grants provide a foundation of financial aid to which other aid may be added. Follow the links for information about the  the appropriate  grants. There are also Texas  state grants with various financial amounts-the Texas Public Education grant (TPEG), and the  Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership Program ( LEAPP) .
