Student Eligibility

To receive financial aid from a major student aid program a student should:
  • have a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate;
  • be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a regular student working toward a degree in an eligible program;
  • be a US. Citizen or eligible non citizen;
  • have a valid Social Security Number;

  • sign statement of educational purpose and certification statement on overpayment and default;
  • sign statement of authorization to credit account; and
  • register with the Selective Service, if required.
