Good Neighbor Scholarship Program

Program Purpose

To provide tuition assistance to students from other nations of the Western Hemispheres (other than Cuba).  For more information visit: www.collegefortexans.com.

Qualifications

To be eligible to apply for the Good Neighbor Scholarship Program the student must:

1) Be a non resident from an eligible country

2) Have been born in and are current residents of a nation of the Western hemisphere other than Cuba or the United States

3) Intend to return to the eligible country upon completion of the program of study

4) Be scholastically qualified for admissions

Award Amount

The scholarship covers one year (12 consecutive months) of tuition & fees.

Application Process

The student must contact the International Student Affairs Office at 956-381-2922 for an application.  The deadline for the college to submit student recommendation forms to the state is March 15 of each year.
