Senior Citizen, 65 or Older Free Tuition for 6 Credit Hours

Program Purpose

To encourage senior citizens to continue their education and be involved with the local college.  For more information visit the states website: www.collegefortexans.com

Qualifications

To be eligible to apply for this program a student must:

1) Be a Texas Resident, Non-Resident, or Foreign Student

2) Must be at least 65 years of age (show proof via drivers license, birth certificate or completed FAFSA)

3) Be enrolled up to 6 hours, if space is available.

Award Amount

The exemption pays for tuition only up to 6 hours per semester.  The award does not cover fees. 

This award is available to undergraduate and graduate students.

Application Process

The student must contact the Student Financial Services Office to fill out a waiver form and show proof of eligibility.
