Professional Nursing Scholarship Program

Program Purpose

To encourage students to become Professional Nurses by providing some financial assistance. For more information visit the states website: www.collegefortexans.com

Qualifications

To be eligible to apply for this program a student must:

1) Be a Texas resident

2) Demonstrate financial need as defined by FAFSA

3)  Enroll in classes for at least half-time

4)  Enroll in classes leading to Licensure as a Professional Nurse

Award Amount

The maximum award is $2000.00 per year.  No individual award may be for more than the student's financial need.  Some but not all funds are targeted to students from rural communities.  Some funds are targeted to graduate students in Nursing.
