Exemption for Clinical Preceptor and Their Children

Program Purpose

To provide tuition assistance to eligible persons employed as clinical preceptors and to their children in order to encourage the preceptors to continue their employment and induce others to seek such employment in the State of Texas. Qualifications

To be eligible to apply for this program a student must: 

1) Be a resident of Texas 

2) Be the child of a clinical preceptor who is serving under a written preceptor agreement with an undergraduate professional nursing program as a clinical preceptor for students enrolled in the program for the semester or other academic term for which the exemption is sought; and

3) Be enrolled as an undergraduate student.

Award Amount

The program can provide and award amount up to $500 per term or semester.
